Pastor Juan had not had only the calling as pastor, but also had lived with his family in this neighbor-hood for years and thus had many contacts there.
Our Church "Casa de Dios":

On April 24, 2005, our association, "Chacra de Dios" founded a church in Tawantinsuyu, and now since the end of November in Amauta, a city district on the outskirts of Juliaca with the name "Casa de Dios" (House of God). Juan Hurtado Huamán, founding member and one of the leaders in our association, was ordained as pastor of the church, having a Bible school training and years of pastoral experienced. |

"Chacra de Dios" founded the church after unanimously discerning God's leading in prayer as well as the need in this area, having no evangelical church anywhere nearby. Many live there in the midst of various problems and spiritual bondage ( occult and animistic practices, broken families, high unemployment or massive pressure to keep underpaying jobs).

At the beginning of 2009 pastor Juan and his family had to move to the jungle for health reasons. Since this time our leader Javier Vargas Apaza is the responsable person for the church, supported by the Bedfords and Birgit Ufermann as missionaries. |

The church meets at 6.45 p.m. every Thursday and Sunday. Every Sunday morning there is an additional children´s meeting at 09.45. Every Thursday at 02.30 p.m. the woman have the opportunity to meet, at the moment in Olga´s house for a discipleship training course. |
