The Vision:

"A farmer went out to sow his seed. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop-- a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

 (Matthew 13:3, 8)

 

The evangelical association "Chacra de Dios" (translation: God's Acre), which was founded in February of 2001, is a non-profit interdenominational organization, working together with local and regional churches primarily in the city of Juliaca and the department of Puno, Peru.

 

The primary goal of Chacra de Dios is to teach, equip and encourage Peruvian Christians for the ministry. This is accomplished through:

  1. Short Term Seminars, Leadership Training Courses

  2. Retreats, Conferences and Children's Camps

  3. "Encounter"-weekends based on the G12 Vision (see below.)
  4. Active participation in  the evangelical alliance in Juliaca
  5. Intercession for the city of Juliaca and  unity among Christian churches
  6. Spreading the gospel through church planting (our first being in poor section at the edge of the city, our second at the countryside).

  7. Fellowship with Peruvians being trained by and living with missionaries of the training center Chacra de Dios

 

In addition to these goals, we at Chacra de Dios work to support the local Christian churches, where God's Word is being sown in the hearts of men, so that God's Kingdom will increase and that many will be enabled to bear more fruit for His glory.

 

The association teaches, encourages and supports Christian leaders and ministers in their spiritual growth and the growth of their ministries. 

The Center is also a place for individuals, groups or whole churches to come to seek God or be refreshed in His presence.

 

"Chacra de Dios", a field where, by God's grace, Peruvians are growing and bearing fruit in their lives.
